New Schools developments.

Sound Analysis have been appointed by various Architects as Acoustic Consultants for five new school developments, in Berkshire, Essex and Surrey.

The Brief for each project includes an environmental survey to establish the existing noise levels for the design of the external building fabric, and full analysis of the internal structure to comply with the requirements of Building Bulletin 93, Acoustic Design of Schools.

Planning Applications and Appeals.

Sound Analysis has developed an association with an established firm of Planning Consultants and we have been commissioned on behalf of Clients to provide Acoustic Consultancy services associated with the Planning Application or Appeal on many projects.

Local Authorities often require an Acoustic Survey and Report to accompany a Planning Application,

and Applications can be refused on the grounds of potential noise and disturbance which can result in an Appeal being submitted leading to a Planning Inquiry.

In several cases we have been able to show that concerns over potential noise and disturbance were unfounded.
